Can I receive treatment without a Doctors referral?

Yes, under new Texas law however some payers require a diagnosis code and doctor's referral for services being rendered.

Can I choose which Therapy Clinic I’m referred to?

In most cases, you have the right to choose where you receive your treatment. At ProCare, we work hand in hand with all referring Doctors/Specialists.

Why should I choose a Private Practice Therapy Clinic like ProCare as opposed to a Physician owned Therapy Clinic?

At ProCare, we believe we can provide you with the highest quality of care available. You will work closely with a licensed Therapist and in most instances, your treatment will be managed by the same Therapist from the beginning to the end of your experience with us.

Who pays for the treatment?

In most cases, health insurance will cover all or a portion of the treatment costs. There may be out of pocket expenses (such as co-payments or deductibles) that you may be required to pay, which is determined by your insurance provider. Any question pertaining to your coverage and financial responsibility or private pay can be directed to our front office.

Is Therapy painful?

In some cases, Therapy techniques can cause some discomfort. For example, recovering knee range of motion after total knee replacement, may cause discomfort. It is important that you communicate the intensity, frequency, and duration of the discomfort to your Therapist.
